If you missed this event and would like to know what Listen is all about, you can find a recap of the interview here. Note that slight edits have been made for clarity.

Segment 1 – Introduction

Hello Sir

Ready for your AMA?

[Tony Hollingsworth]

Yes, I’m ready.

Hello, สวัสดี, 大家好, नमस्ते, Selamat!

My name is May and I’ll be hosting the AMA with Listen.

Today, we have with us a distinguished guest from the Listen Team.

His name is Tony Hollingsworth, the creator of the Listen Project.

You’re welcome Sir, and it’s an honor to have you here.

Could you quickly tell us more about yourself and your job description at Listen?

[Tony Hollingsworth]

It’s a pleasure to be with you.

I’m the founder of The Listen Campaign and the CEO of Listen Communications Ltd. I’ve been producing for 40 years and have created nine of the world’s largest global broadcast events and campaigns.

That’s a modest introduction 😊

Dear community, we have a VIP with us today.

Here’s the longer version of his bio 😊

Tony has over 30 years of experience working with companies, governments, and foundations at the intersection of communications, media, and popular culture. His credits range from, conceiving and producing the global media campaign that reached 600m and re-positioned Nelson Mandela from “black terrorist leader” to “black leader” to, consulting for the US White House on a public campaign in a response to 9/11.

Tony has taken the roles of consultant, entrepreneur, CEO/Director, Executive producer/Producer, and run project companies in the UK, USA, Japan, Spain, Germany, Russia, and South Africa through which he has financed and produced nine global cross-media projects. Some are considered historic (e.g. “Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute” and “The Wall – Live in Berlin”).

Such an honor to have you here 😊

[Tony Hollingsworth]

Too kind.

Shall we now take some project introduction questions?

[Tony Hollingsworth]

Q1. Can you tell us what is the motivation behind developing Listen?

[Tony Hollingsworth]

Having produced nine of the world’s largest global broadcast events and campaigns, each reaching audiences of a 500million or more, I semi-retired to look after my kids. During this time I looked at many causes that might need an annual and global media campaign. The one that had universal appeal was helping vulnerable and disadvantaged children. People are far kinder humanitarians when they look at kids. It was on the top of my list and then one night it all became obvious. I was walking one of my boys around as he was ill and needed the motion to sleep. I was also listening to BBC World Service Radio and heard a young African mother being interviewed about her baby had just died of diarrhea. It would have cost 10 cents for the rehydration sachet but she had no money and no clean water. Her baby had died for lack of 10cents. If my kids just coughed strangely we could call a doctor. The unfairness of the situation made me commit to developing an annual & global media campaign to help vulnerable disadvantaged children.

We’re glad you took on the project.

Next question.

Q2. Can you tell us what global problem the Listen Project aims to solve?

[Tony Hollingsworth]

There are a number of layers. The first is our lack of knowledge of the extent of the problems vulnerable and disadvantaged children face, the nature of their problems, and the solutions that are already out there that need to be scaled up or replicated. There were 1 billion very vulnerable or disadvantaged children around the world before Covid and it looks like there are now 20% more. We don’t hear about the scale of the problem because each charity/NGO is just looking at a small part of the overall situation (e.g. Malnutrition in Bangladesh or kids dropping out of school in Chicago. Listen is asking the public to listen to these children. It will bring together a picture of the totality of the problem…but it will not stop at the problem. For every problem revealed by a film star listening to a child’s story (note – not talking for them) we celebrate a solution. A solution provided by a children’s charity project is already proven to work and ready to be scaled up or replicated. It’s a very positive campaign showing what can be done and asking people to participate in the campaign, donate, create and perhaps push for a project for kids in their town, county, or state.

I love and appreciate the perspective you’re bringing to charity. Great work!

Q3. How can Listen provide a continuous stream of NFTs for its auctions and its shop?

[Tony Hollingsworth]

We expect the campaign will involve 160 major creative artists from film, music, art, and literature in the first year. 80 famous stars around the world and 20 who are big in each of India, Africa, MENA, and Latin America. They will be creating or performing for the campaign and we will make NFTs from their contributions and Auction them off regularly.

We are also asking our global audience to create for the campaign (UGC). Create videos, music, short stories, Art. Their creations can be entered into the Listen Creative Arts Awards. The shortlist will be chosen by a public vote, $LSTN token holders vote, then the finalist will be selected by our stars. The winners will have their contributions shown in the global broadcast event on June 25th, 2022 “Listen Live Plus” to an audience of 100s of millions. The top 500 of each category will be made into NFTs and sold in our shop. Each year we give out the awards and start again.

Q4. How do we acquire the $LSTN token and why is it important to be held from an investment perspective?

[Tony Hollingsworth]

You can get $LSTN from LaunchPool around the end of August. If you join the guest list at you will be the first to know about the launch.

Holding $LSTN tokens provides benefits in the annual Listen Campaign – discounts on NFTs in the auction and shop, entries into highly exclusive prize draws, Listen Points rewards, voting rights, etc. And we can and will add more surprises. Plus the Listen Campaign is perhaps the only NFT platform that has its supply of NFTs as a steady stream. Once the first campaign has been launched on March 30th, 2022 people will start to see the scale of the campaign, and the demand for $LSTN will rise. By the time the first full year has run the demand should be great.

Looking forward to it!

Last introduction question.

Q5. What are the major plans on track for completion this year by Listen?

[Tony Hollingsworth]

We are already building the NFT Auction Platform and have started on the main web-based system for the whole campaign. We have about 80 stars and creative artists saying they want to be involved. The key broadcasters and streaming partners are in place (e.g. ABC & Hulu in the US, Zee in India, Viacom in Sub Saharan Africa, DMI for MENA, etc). We are now building our team of content producers and campaign managers and selling to sponsors. The LA Coliseum, one of the largest stadiums in the world, is booked for the three nights of “Listen Live” on June 20th, 21st, 22nd. Kiswe will stream on a pay-per-view basis globally on the 22nd. Free to Air broadcasting on June 25th …when we hope the world will be Listening. 🙂

We will be listening over here 🙂

It’s time to take questions from our Twitter community.

Ready? 😊

[Tony Hollingsworth]

Ready. 😎

Alrighty then! 😁

Segment 2 – Twitter Questions

Q1. In the listen campaign can only top and famous artists participate in creating and auctioning their NFTs? No space for small and new artists?

Twitter Username: @cradled_in_

[Tony Hollingsworth]

No. Anyone can create for The Listen Campaign. We call them citizen artists. They send in their contributions which give us interesting and perhaps beautiful and powerful content to help the campaign. The public vote, then the $LSTN holders vote, then the stars chose the winners for the Listen Creative Arts Awards. The top 500 pieces in each category get made into NFTs and placed in the shop.

Good to know 🙂

Who knows? I might just be a citizen artist 😁

Q2. “Listen will be allocating a percentage of $LTOKENs to a token event called an Allocation Mining Event (AME)”. Can you explain more about how this event will take place and when? How will one be eligible for this and in what form? Is it for token holders alone?

Twitter Username: @adiele_sandra

[Tony Hollingsworth]

The token is called $LSTN and you can find out the details of the Launchpool AME at the bottom of, and if you register for our guestlist on that page we will contact you when the event is about to take place with detailed step by step instructions.

Dear Sandra, please note the token name 🙂

Q3. What special powers do I get by being a $LSTN token holder? Do I need to spend $LSTN for using my privileges every time or just holding a certain amount is enough?

Twitter Username: @static_current

[Tony Hollingsworth]

Firstly, you can’t spend your $LSTN with us but you do get loads of privileges…here are those listed in the Litepaper at But we will be adding surprise benefits as we roll out the campaign.

The right to bid for the Star Creative Artist’s NFTs in the monthly auctions which are only open to $LSTN holders; the more tokens you hold, the better access you get.

‘Silver Badge’ status for every 250,000 to 499,999 $LSTN staked for 30 days, entitling the user to a five percent discount on their purchases in the Listen Collectibles Auction and Shop.

‘Gold Badge’ status for every 500,000 + $LSTN staked for 30 days, entitling the user to a ten percent discount on their purchases in the Listen Collectibles Auction and Shop.

The right to vote for the winners of The Listen Creative Arts Awards (see below).

The accrual of Listen Points (Listen Points are the loyalty reward system of the Listen Campaign and provide each holder with exclusive benefits and prize entries, including discounts on tickets, merchandise, and Pay Per View streaming): ○ Users who “stake” 5,000 $LSTN on the official Auction and Shop site will earn 100 Listen points per month (per 5,000 $LSTN staked). ○ Users who purchase Collectibles in the Auction Site and Shop will be rewarded with Listen Points.

Automatic entry into a lottery to win two “Private View” tickets to watch the whole of “Listen Live LA” involving at least 28 Star Musician, 12 Film Stars, and world leaders on Monday, June 20th, 2022 at the LA Coliseum, whilst dancing and having a banquet on the field, with the stars, their friends and families. $LSTN holders allocated 100 tickets.

● A free ticket for the global streaming of Listen Live Plus on June 22nd, 2022 if the token holder has staked over 10,000 $LSTN for the 30 days preceding June 15th, 2022.

A minute for the community to digest 😁

Alright, let’s take some questions from our website community.

Segment 3 – Website Questions

Q1. Will a percentage of the proceeds from the minted Tribute NFTs to be created from The Listen Campaign be given to the creative artists they were made in honor of?

Telegram Username: @zaatoshi

[Tony Hollingsworth]

No, all the proceeds of the campaign go to cover its costs and make it reach a larger audience.

Q2. How can grassroot artists or creators be part of Listen Live Campaign and Creative Arts Awards & have their work be shared with millions of viewers and listeners?

Telegram Username: @aylaevie

[Tony Hollingsworth]

Most of this is answered above. However, as grassroots/citizen artists send in their creations we feature a few each day, and our media partners also feature contributions.

Last website question.

Q3. The Listen Campaign limited edition digital collectibles will be created (“minted”) as NFTs on the Flow blockchain. Why did you choose Flow ecosystem over BSC, ETH which is most popular in NFT creations? Do we also see ListenNFT being integrated into other Blockchain networks in the near future?

Telegram Username: @Ble73

[Tony Hollingsworth]

We chose Flow because it is faster, more scalable, and far more energy-efficient (“greener”) than Ethereum. Additionally, users who buy, sell, and trade Listen NFTs on Flow will not have to pay high transaction fees like on Ethereum. A third contributing factor is the ability to natively integrate fiat payments, as the Campaign is appealing to a global audience, we did not want to restrict our user experience to only those who own ETH and already have an Ethereum wallet.

Do we see Listen NFTs being integrated into other blockchain networks? No, although we will continue to monitor all unfolding developments in the space and will re-evaluate based on any potential changes in market conditions.”

🤔 Great choice!

It’s now time to take questions from our live audience.

This is the most popular segment.

In this 4th segment, I will open the group for some seconds for the live community to shoot you some pressing questions.

Please pick four original questions to answer.

Try to ignore generic, vague, and copy-paste questions 😊

[Tony Hollingsworth]

Yes, ready.

Group unmuted in…

—Chat was then opened for the live community to send in their questions—

Segment 4 – Live Questions

I think we have a lot of original questions lined up for you to pick from. 😁

Please select the best four questions.

The floor is yours.

[Tony Hollingsworth]

OK. Let me look.

Take your time.

[Jean Pierre Hernandez]

Could you tell me in detail at least one of the many ways in which the Lister Token project is raising funds to help the one billion vulnerable and severely disadvantaged children?

[Tony Hollingsworth]

After the artists’ launch, we will recruit the community and get them to participate. We run promotions, TV, and Streaming series and we then have our big media week around the three days of live shows from the LA Coliseum. During this week we will reach 100s of millions of people and we ask them to donate.

3️⃣ more questions to go 🥳

[Jose Gamboa]

The Listen Campaign has short, medium, and long-term goals. Can you mention these goals to us?

[Tony Hollingsworth]

Yes. In the first year we expect to put out the equivalent of $434m of advertising – in short stories featuring children talking about the problems they face and the projects helping them – plus recruit a pro-active community of 12m … raise $100m in donations worldwide.

In a decade we should have put out $4.34billion, have a community of 35m, and have raised $1-2billion.

2️⃣ more questions to go 🥳

Achieving a green planet should be our objective as living beings, but every time we depend more on machines, industries, and technology, even cryptography can be harmful to the environment. Do you think that there is a real way to combine finances with the impact on the planet?

[Tony Hollingsworth]

We have designed The Listen Campaign to be carbon neutral even in its first year. Some of the children’s projects being backed move homes, schools, clinics away from solid fuels to solar power to offset.

We have chosen Flow as it’s the least energy-consuming blockchain.

1️⃣ more question to go 🥳

[Orina Emine]

Do you have communities in Korean and Arabic??

Are your tools made very easy for artists to build on like are they guides we can find on the website??

[Tony Hollingsworth]

We will be putting out The Listen Campaign in nine languages and our media partners are then putting it out into more languages. Arabic is one of the nine. We hope to have a media partner for Korea shortly. We will explain the way that people can contribute their creations and it will be very simple.

Aaaaaaand it’s a wrap!

[Tony Hollingsworth]

Thank you very much. Please go to for more info.

Thank you so much Mr. Hollingsworth for honoring our invitation.
